In this detached holiday home north of Faro and northeast of Estói enjoy the spaciousness and comfort for a relaxing holiday in total privacy. This secluded property with an outdoor swimming pool is only accessible by car and is located in a sought after residential area in rural areas with isolated villas in the hilly inland, about 16 km from Faro Airport.
The air-conditioned house has a living space of 155 m² and can accommodate up to 8 people. It has three bedrooms as well as three full baths, a cozy open plan living and dining room with
Sofa bed and terrace access, as well as integrated fully equipped kitchen. The ground floor has the other two bedrooms. While you sleep the first in two adjoining single beds, the second room has a double bed. In the spacious living area to relax on a two-seater for a day trip with views of the flat-panel television with satellite-TV And DVD player. Here you will find a large bedroom with double bed and wardrobe. The television is for entertainment while you lie comfortably in bed. In addition, a small kitchenette for breakfast with a sink and a refrigerator, and a dining area is available. Of course a bathroom with shower and toilet upstairs.
From the living room on the ground floor you enter the covered terrace, which is furnished with a seating area for an outdoor meal. Alternatively, make a picnic area with barbecue grills. After a busy day, cool off with a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool or shower and enjoy the sun in one of 6 sun loungers on the terrace. The property is difficult to see from the outside, partially fenced and has parking for up to three cars.
Many restaurants in the charming village of Estói a short drive away (about 4 km), where every Sunday takes place a weekly market. There are also bicycles for a leisurely trip to the surroundings can be borrowed. More bars, restaurants and nightlife offers the nearby center of Faro (14 km). A trip to Faro with many shops and boutiques is a must. The 13 km away Olhão offers numerous restaurants, which specialize in seafood. The historic Roman villa complex Milreu disconnect in the property only 4.7 km away. This cottage is 22 km from the beach on the island of Faro. Summary: We stayed at Casa dos Amigos for 2 weeks in July 2019, and absolutely everything went perfect. Reinhard greeted us upon our arrival and explained how certain thing work (TV's, washing machine and such). The house is on a steep hill overlooking district of Faro, you could see the ocean in a good day, it is roughly 5-6 minutes to Estoi, and 14 km to Faro. Nearest supermarket and a good one is is 16 minutes in the car. You will need a car but it is way worth to explore the surrounding in short grocery trips. There are plenty of public access beaches in a 30 to 40 minute distance and they are beautiful. Faro is a very pretty and picturesque little town with a Marina and old city neighborhood. We traveled to Spain as well which is 40 minutes away, no border. House has a good size clean pool and the owner takes care of it twice a week. House has everything whats needed in terms of entertainment and kitchen and bath accommodations and is actually quite spacious. There are 2 bedrooms on first floor along with a fully equipped kitchen and living room. There is also an upstairs bedroom with a separate side way entrance with a kitchenette and a fridge. All rooms have ductless AC's. We had perfect weather and an absolutely wonderful time at this place! We are recommending this place to everyone who wants visit this part of Portugal. Peter
